Reading an email and replying
The everyday move, with no AI involved: open, read, write, send.
Click the email in the list to open it on the right. Under the message press “Reply”, write, and send with the blue button (or ⌘/Ctrl + Enter). To pass it on to someone else, press “Forward”.
Step by step

Pick the email
One click on the row in the list. The message opens in the panel next to it and is marked as read.

Read the whole thing
If it comes from a long conversation there is a link to show the quoted text below. Attachments sit at the end of the message.

Press “Reply”
The dark button in the bar underneath. A text box opens with the recipient already filled in.

Write and send
Type what you want and press send. If you prefer the keyboard: ⌘ + Enter on Mac, Ctrl + Enter on Windows.
If you close the box without sending, the text is kept in your drafts.

Tips
- To pass an email on to someone else use “Forward”, not “Reply”.
- To copy somebody in, open the recipients above the box and add them to the Cc field.

Where do the emails I write end up?
In the “Sent” folder of the account you wrote from, in the mailboxes column.
I closed the reply by accident
It is not lost: open the drafts button in the reply box itself and get it back.
