Alerts: the bell and new mail
Hearing about what matters without your computer shouting every two minutes.
The bell in the icon bar is the in-app notification centre: new mail, collaboration requests and comments. System alerts (the ones in the corner of your screen) are asked for the first time and managed from your computer’s settings.
Step by step
-
Open the bell
Near the bottom of the icon bar. Pending alerts appear there.
Where it is, inside the window. -
Press an alert to go there
Each one takes you to the email, the shared conversation or the collaborators panel.
-
Decide about system alerts
The first time, Nukli asks whether you want the system to tell you about new mail. You can say no and rely on the bell.
Tips
- If one thread is too noisy, mute it by right-clicking the email.
- System alerts can be turned back on (or off) in your computer’s notification settings.
Common questions
